Yamaha Motor India shows positive results with a 14.4% jump in sales

Yamaha Motor India, one of the leading two wheeler manufacturer in India showed positive results for the month of June with a 14.4% increase in sales. The two wheeler manufacturer sold 40,666 units during June this year compared to 35,561 units sold during the same period in 2013.

These are definitely good times for the automobile industry which has been reeling under pressure from poor sales. Yamaha launched refreshed variants of its FZ series on June 30th in India – FZ version 2.0 and FZ-S version 2.0. As per reports Roy Kurian Vice-President ‘Sales and Marketing’ at Yamaha Motor India mentioned that the month of June 2014 has ended on a positive note and the key growth driver for Yamaha India has been the Alpha which was showcased in the 2014 Indian Auto Expo.

Let`s hope with a stable government at the centre to support the automobile industry we can see more auto companies in India perform better compared to last year.
