Yamaha India launches SZ-RR Version 2.0 in Matt green color; priced at Rs. 67,664
Yamaha has been in the two-wheeler automotive industry since quite long and has been raising up its reputation and trying to vow the customers across the country with their awesome and stunning lineup of motorcycles and scooters. Recently, to add another feather to its cap the Japanese company launched their all-new commuter bike the SZ-RR Version 2 in the Indian automotive industry. The bike was initially revealed at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo.
The Yamaha SZ-RR Version 2.0 is now available in an all-new color option i.e. the matt green paint scheme, which makes the bike look even more sporty and stunning in appearance. On the outside the bike is equipped with matt black fuel tank along with some yellow decals, a sporty headlamp setup along with alloy wheels that add to the sporty look of the SZ-RR. On the mechanical front, the bike comes with a single-cylinder 149.5cc engine that churns out 12bhp of power and 12.8Nm of maximum torque, which is enough for the urban commute. The bike also features Yamaha’s Blue core technology that combines performance with fuel efficiency.
The Yamaha SZ-RR Version 2.0 is 2,050 mm long, 760 mm wide, and 1,100 mm high. It has a wheelbase of 1,320 mm, 800 mm seat height, 134 kg kerb weight and a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres.
Suspension duties are performed by a telescopic unit at the front and a swing arm at the rear, while stopping power is provided by a hydraulic disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The SZ-RR Version 2.0 is shod on 2.75-17M/C 41P tyre at the front and 100/90-17M/C 55P (Tubeless) tyre at the rear.
The Matt Green Yamaha SZ-RR version 2.0 is priced at Rs.67, 664 (ex-showroom Delhi) and would compete against the likes of the Bajaj Discover, Hero Achiever and the recently launched Bajaj V5 in the Indian two wheeler market.
