Upcoming AMT (automated manual Transmission) cars in India

With the growing urban population in India almost every major city is facing the problem of traffic jams. And the need of automatic cars is growing rapidly.

Earlier though automatic cars were not so popular in India, the reason for that was the lower fuel economy and high maintenance cost.

But now what’s getting popular in India are the Automated Manual Transmissions (AMT). AMT cars that bring you the best of both the worlds, which is the added convenience of an automatic car without compromising with the greater fuel efficiency of the manual’s. This is due to the fact that an AMT is nothing but a manual transmission where the gear shifts are done through an electro mechanical setup, a microprocessor changes the gears according to the engine rpm at the correct speeds.
