Triumph India sells 1600 motorbikes in 18 months; Offers Bonneville at an EMI of 9,990 for 5 years
The craze for two wheelers is on the rise in India and even more for foreign brands. With the likes of international bike brands like Triumph entering the Indian market the trend for higher cubic capacity bikes has finally caught up with the younger generation. The Legendary British bike manufacturer has tasted success in the country and has been consistently selling in decent numbers every month thanks to its 13 products in five different product categories.
Triumph recently reported that it sold 1,600 motorbikes in the Indian market in a span of 18 months since the onset of its operations in the country. In order to celebrate this occasion Triumph Motorcycles India in partnership with HDFC bank has come up with an attractive finance scheme.
Triumph is offering the Bonneville 865cc at a down payment of Rs 2.35 lakhs and an easy monthly instalment (EMI) of Rs 9,990 for five years. The above scheme is valid for showrooms in Delhi and for dealerships in other states the rates are expected to vary.
The 865cc Bonneville is powered by a two cylinder motor which produces 61 PS of power and 61 Nm of twisting force coupled to a 5-speed transmission. The bike is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. Triumph sells bikes under five categories in India namely – Adventure, Classic, Cruisers, Roadsters and Supersports. Some of the other bikes sold by Triumph in India are Daytona 675, Street Triple, Speed Triple, Rocket III Roadster, Thunderbird LT, Thunderbird Storm, Tiger Explorer XC and the new Tiger 800.
