Apart from the cosmetic changes, the 2016 Toyota Etios facelift will not feature any updates in the engine department. It will continue to be powered by a 1.5L petrol motor that produces 90PS of power and 132 Nm of torque while the 1 .4L diesel mill generates 68PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

The mid-sized compact sedan segment is the most popular segment in the country and the Etios competes against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Tata Zest, Hyundai Xcent and the Ford Figo Aspire.
