Suzuki Gixxer with two new color schemes launched at Rs 77,166
The 155cc Suzuki Gixxer changed the fate of Suzuki in the Indian motorcycle market. The company has sold 7561 units of the SF and the street fighter version last month taking it to the fifth spot in terms of sales in the 150cc category. In a bid to further improve its sales and with the festive season round the corner, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has launched the bike in two new dual–tone color schemes – Metallic Triton Blue with Pearl Mirage White and Candy Antares Red with Glass Sparkle Black (inspired from Suzuki`s racing colors).
The Gixxer also features exciting new body graphics which give it a sporty look. The bike also gets clear lens turn indicators like on the SF. The company has also provided a new key mascot with the Suzuki logo on it. The motorcycle will continue to be offered in the four monotone color options namely – red, blue, black and grey.
The Suzuki Gixxer gets its juice from a 155cc single cylinder motor which churns out 14.8 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque. The bike handles well and has enough grunt for the daily city commute. It also has an impressive ARAI certified mileage of 63.5 kmpl. It is currently the hottest selling bike in company`s Indian line-up and a more powerful 250cc version is expected to go on sale next year.
