The Mahindra owned Korean automotive manufacturing brand, SsangYong recently launched their much-awaited compact SUV in the Korean market named as the Tivoli Air. The Tivoli air boasts of an extended rear which helps in creating more space in the boot area. And now the luggage compartment has a 720 litre loading capacity which can be further increased to a massive 1440 litres with the rear seats folded down. This increase is due to the 235mm increase in length compared to the standard variant. The Tivoli Air now measures 4195mm long. In addition, to increased storage space, it also boasts of reclining second row of seats that offers extra comfort for those long highway drives.

On the mechanical front, the Tivoli Air gets its juice from a 1.6L-eXDI diesel engine that packs 115bhp of power and 300Nm of peak torque, coupled with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox setup. There is no news of a petrol variant as of now, which is bad news for petrol heads.
