Spied: 2016 KTM RC390 spotted in India
Launched in late 2014 in the Indian market, the KTM RC390 is ready for an update. A few days back spyshots of the 2016 KTM RC390 have emerged on the interweb. The refreshed middle weight super sports motorcycle is expected to be launched in India at the 2016 Auto Expo.
The 2016 RC390 gets some new equipment while there is no significant change in the design. The KTM RC390 now gets a slipper clutch and a bigger front disc brake (320mm), ride by wire technology, and a new exposed exhaust unit. Clutch lever and front brake are now adjustable. The motorcycle meets the upcoming Euro4 emission norms.
There are no changes on the mechanical front. It is powered by a 373.2 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that bangs out 43.5 PS of power and 35 NM of peak torque coupled to a 6-speed transmission. The KTM RC390 has top speed of 179 kmph and delivers a mileage of 25 Km/l.
The updated bike`s looks are altered by the conventional exhaust system and larger disc brakes. Apart from this there are no cosmetic differences between the upcoming model and the model which is currently available for sale. Once launched it will compete with the likes of the Yamaha R3 and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
