Royal Enfield opens dealerships in Paris and Madrid
Royal Enfield has opened a brand new exquisite outlet in Paris and Madrid, hinting at its firm intent to penetrate into the European market. Embarking its run in Europe, Siddhartha Lal, CEO Royal Enfield has moved to London with the vision of making Royal Enfield globally renowned in the 750cc segment. Currently, 5 % of company’s total sales comes from its global markets, which is not impressive. With the company’s plans to widen its reach in the international markets, the sales figure for its off-shore market are expected to improve in the coming future.
Apart from standalone outlets, the company also ventured into its line of riding gear and accessories. And the company’s new World War II themed despatch riders bikes were also revealed. These bikes are available in various colour choices including Desert Storm, Squadron Blue Despatch and Battle Green Despatch.
As for the new dealerships, these are not the first dealerships inaugurated in France and Spain respectively. The Chennai based auto maker already has around 80 dealerships in France and 25 outlets in Spain. In the current calendar year, around 60 % of growth has been registered in France as compared to last year.
