Revotron 1.2 T engine campaign launched by TATA Motors
On 4th July 2014 Tata Motors launched a nation-wide campaign for its new Revotron 1.2 T MPFI engine. This is an attempt by Tata Motors to create brand awareness for its Revotron 1.2 T engine. For the campaign TATA has unveiled the Revotron lab in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ludhiana and Hyderabad. The inauguration of the first Revotron lab was held in Ambience Mall at Gurgaon and it was also attended by India`s first F1 driver, Narain Karthikeyan.
The Revotron 1.2 T turbocharged MPFI engine will be powering TATA`s upcoming cars and TATA wanted to bring about consumer awareness in an innovative way. Hence Revotron lab was launched to narrate this exciting story to customers using various innovative platforms like Labs, multi-drive mode game, holograms, and unique digital activations.
The Revotron lab consists of three elements:
The Binaural sound zone: Offers a virtual sound experience.
The Revotron challenge game: A 3D game which allows participants to travel in a Zest and where they can experience various features of the Revotron engine.
The Interactive touch glass: Educates customers on the benefits of the Revotron engine.
Besides this TATA will be installing Hi-Tech Revotron Holograms in 75 major dealerships across India. Under this activity a virtual image of F1 driver Narain Karthikeyan will explain features and benefits of the Revotron engine to the customer. The 1.2 litre turbocharged Revotron petrol engine develops 89PS of power and 140NM of torque. It is the first engine in India to feature three driving modes: City, Sport and Eco.
Eco mode is for comfortable highway cruising, Sport mode is when you need that sudden burst of power and City mode is for the daily urban grind. This engine will be seen in the TATA Zest sedan and TATA Bolt hatchback.
