Renault offers attractive price cuts for its popular diesel models in India
French car maker Renault is very eager to lift its fortunes in the domestic car market. In order to boost sales and to get more footfalls, Renault India has come up with new price offers and schemes to lure in more buyers and to offer them the added benefits of choosing a Renault vehicle. One such latest offer from the house of Renault India is for its Pulse hatchback’s diesel variant. The Renault Pulse hatchback has been fairly popular in India, and now with the new slashed price scheme for the Pulse, Renault India is looking to boost its sales volumes in the domestic market.
For a limited period, Renault is offering the Pulse diesel variant, at the same price tag as the car’s petrol variant. Currently, the Renault Pulse RxL diesel model is available in the Indian market for a price of Rs. 5.19 lakhs as compared to the real price tag of Rs. 6.40 lakhs. However, as already mentioned, this price slash for the Renault Pulse Diesel is available only for a limited time period.
The Pulse hatchback is Renault India’s entry level product in the domestic car market. The Renault Pulse hatchback started of its career with good sales initially. However, as the market competition is intense for hatchbacks, the Pulse lost its charm in terms of market performance soon enough, and took a back seat in comparison to other offerings from Renault such as the Duster and Scala. Apart from the reduced price of the Pulse diesel, Renault India is also offering other great benefits for the car including a 2 year extended warranty as well as 4 years roadside assistance for absolutely no added amount.
The Renault Pulse is not the only model from the French car maker that comes with an attractive offer. The highly popular Renault Duster comes at reduced price now. The Duster RxL 85PS is currently available at a slashed price of Rs. 9.29 lakhs as against the earlier price tag of Rs. 9.57 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai). Even prices of the recently launched new Duster RxL AWD ALL Wheel Drive version have been slashed and the SUV is now available at Rs. 11.29 lakhs as compared to the earlier price of Rs. 11.89 lakhs.
The price benefits are extended to the Renault Scala as well. The Scala is now priced at a starting tag of Rs. 8.01 lakhs for the RxL model trim. Similar to Pulse, the Scala RxL also comes with free 2 years of extra warranty and 4 year roadside assistance. Renault India is certainly offering these benefits to boost the sales of its diesel models. Though the diesel cars have been the dominantly sold cars in India, they are slowly losing their charm, as diesel prices are periodically increasing reducing the gap between petrol and diesel fuel costs.
