Renault launches Scala Travelogue edition

Every car manufacturer is launching special editions of their existing models to keep the buyers interested and maintain the buzz around the brand and Renault is no exception.

Renault India has gone ahead and launched the Renault Scala Travelogue edition at a starting price of 8.48 lakh Ex-showroom Delhi.

The Renault Scala Travelogue edition has a few cosmetic changes on the exterior like the chrome tipped exhaust, silver lining on the wing mirrors and turn indicators on rear view mirrors. Inside the travelogue edition you get a navigation system and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally you also get illuminated scuff plates and a rear sun shade.

The Renault Scala Travelogue edition comes in five variants (two diesels and three petrol). The Petrol variant additionally comes with a CVT transmission which Renault clams is more fuel efficient than the manual variant with mileage pegged at 18 Kmpl over the manual`s 17 Kmpl.

Renault has also thrown in an extended warranty of two years and free road side assistance package for four years. All these features make the Renault Scala Travelogue edition a compelling buy. The Renault Scala is a rebadged Nissan Sunny and competes with the likes of Honda City, Skoda Rapid, Volkswagen Vento and Hyundai Verna.
