Renault Duster facelift (2015) reaches Brazilian Dealerships
With Renault’s Duster earning a good name for itself in the auto industry with its impressive sales figures, it goes without saying that the company bringing in the facelift version will surely keep the Duster`s fans quite happy. The official launch was scheduled yesterday for the refreshed version of the Renault Duster in the Latin American nation; the pictures of the face-lifted SUV spotted at a Brazilian dealership were uploaded online by Carplace.uol.com.
The 2015 Renault Duster Facelift comes with refreshed exteriors and interiors with appealing features to boost the sales numbers. The SUV gets an updated front fascia donned with a new twin-slat grille in gloss black along with new headlights with internal elements, which divides it into three parts. Talking about its rear profile, the new Duster facelift gets an all-new tail light cluster with LED pattern especially added for the Brazilian market. To give an aggressive appeal to the Duster, the company has added the front and rear bumpers with skid plates made of brushed silver.
Under the hood lies the familiar 1.6-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel mill which continues to power the compact SUV with the latter paired with a 4-speed auto box and a 4WD unit as well. Coming to the interiors, there are quite a few noticeable changes. The SUV comes with a new centre console with a piano black finish along with new air-con vents, brown bezels, black and brown leather upholstery seats to give it an upmarket look. The same touchscreen system with satellite navigation continues to perform the infotainment duties while the SUV also gets Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity options in its entertainment box.
For Latin America, the Duster is manufactured at the company’s plant in Sao Jose. Talking about the Indian version of the Renault Duster, it got a minor update earlier this month with the addition of features like an armrest, new instrument cluster and an ECO button for an efficient driving experience. It is expected that the first major facelift of the Indian spec Renault Duster is scheduled to happen in 2016.
