Nissan showcases its concept “Sway”, could be the new Micra?
The 2015 Geneva car show will feature a lot of new concepts, most of which will hit production in the following year. Nissan has given a teaser of what it will show at the auto show. The concept will be called the “Sway” and will most likely be the Micra replacement. The car has been developed using the same design philosophy that was used in the development of the Juke and Qashqai. Nissan had announced that they were looking into a radical makeover of their hatchback portfolio, and the concept car would most probably replace the Micra in as soon as 18 months.
Andy Palmer, who was the former head of Nissan, said that the new variant of the Micra wouldn’t follow the same round design that its predecessors had. The teaser pictures hints at an aggressive sleek looking car, and would most probably be the same design flow you could expect on the new Micra. Even if its does replace the new Micra, don’t expect it to make its way into India anytime soon.
