Nissan Micra Fashion edition priced at Rs. 6.09 lakh
Nissan has launched a special edition variant of its Micra hatchback in India. Called the Micra Fashion Edition, this new model is priced at Rs. 6.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is based on the regular Micra’s XL CVT variant.
Nissan claims that the Micra Fashion Edition has been designed by taking inspiration by the globally acclaimed fashion brand from Italy – United Colors of Benetton. It is available in two exclusive colours options: Fashion Black and Fashion Orange.
The limited-edition Nissan Micra Fashion variant comes with body graphics in contrasting colours, Micra decals, black wheel covers with orange detailing, and race stripes on the hood, bonnet, hatch as well as ORVM caps. Other exterior design details are similar to the regular model’s XL trim.
On the inside, the 2017 Nissan Micra Fashion Edition comes with an all-black cabin with contrasting orange inserts added around the centre console, AC vents, gear lever housing and door pads. Additionally, the floor mats and seat covers also get orange stitching, while the headrests house an exclusive Benettor badge that points towards the car’s inspiration from the fashion brand.
No changes have been made under the skin of this special edition Micra. Hence, it continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 76 bhp and 104 Nm of torque, while being mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. This powertrain setup is claimed to deliver an ARAI rated fuel economy figure of 19.34 km/l.
To further sweeten the deal, Nissan will also be gifting an exclusive Benetton hamper to the first 500 customers of the Micra Fashion edition. This hamper will include official Benetton accessories like belts, designer wallets, etc., for both men and women. The company is also offering a 5-year extended warranty package, exclusively available to the customers of the Nissan Micra Fashion edition.
