New Mini 3-door and 5-door variants get John Cooper Works Design packages
Mini will be displaying a number of Cooper hatchback models that will introduce the most recent John Cooper Works Tuning as well as John Cooper Works Pro Design Line packages at the upcoming 2014 Essen Auto Show that is scheduled to start on 28th November.
An all black Mini Cooper S 3-door version will debut the John Cooper Works (JCW) Tuning pack which will enhance the car’s power output, although MINI has not yet revealed the new increased power figure. This JCV kit will also come with a handy flap for the car’s exhaust system for producing the optimal power sound. Apart from the enhanced power figure, this 3-door Mini Cooper comes along with many cosmetic updates as well, which includes new Jet Black 18 inch alloy wheels, tailpipe covers as well as air-inlet cover in carbon fibre.
At this year’s upcoming Essen Auto Show, Mini will also unveil the John Cooper Works Pro Design Line for the hatchback range. This range will offer a glimpse of the customization level for the Mini hatchbacks. The new JCW Pro Design range will be coming with broad spectrum customization optional packages for both the exterior as well as the interior of the vehicle. In order to accentuate the sporty looks of this hatch range, Mini has equipped the cars with a John Cooper Works rear spoiler as well as a rear diffuser which comes along with side fins and splitters.
The John Cooper Works Pro Design range of vehicles will also get added exclusive Black decorative rings for the headlight enclosures as well as tail light enclosures, wing mirror caps, special stylized turn indicator surrounds. The car will also feature, flag theme of design that includes a flag graphic on the roof, a flag motif on the sides of the car and number 37 printed on it signifying the company’s success in the WRC.
The JCW Pro Design range will also get the added features of exclusive key ring and key cap, branded floor mats, illuminated door sills, and sun blinds on the inside. Yet another variant of 3-door Mini Cooper S which will be showcased at the motor show will be featuring the Vivid Green Design language which comes with a gorgeous green finish against a black background. A special exterior feature of the Mini Cooper Vivid Green Design range will be its contrasting and attractive checked roof. This line will enhance the level of customization even better. It will feature a Mini Junior seat which will be offered in three various versions to suit the occupant’s height.
MINI has not yet revealed any details about the market launch of these three packages as yet, and the company has also not announced the prices for these packages as well. More details are expected to come out after these three packages are showcased at the 2014 Essen Auto Show later this month. The new Mini will have its Indian market launch on 19th November, 2014.
