New KTM Duke 390 White edition can now be yours
Austrian bike maker KTM recently made some comprehensive updates to their flagship naked motorcycles in India with the launch of the new 2017 Duke 390 and Duke 250. The updated model comes with significant changes to the mechanicals as well as some major design updates to the street runner. However, various prospective customers were a bit disappointed by the fact that the new Duke 390 in India wasn’t available with a white color. As a result, KTM has now introduced a special edition of the Duke 390 that comes with a white paint scheme.
What’s more interesting about this special edition Duke 390 is the fact that prices of the white colored Duke is similar to that of other colours, i.e., Rs 2.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike maker has already started accepting bookings for the Duke 390 white edition. However, it must be noted that this special edition model of the Duke will only be retailed through select KTM dealerships in India.
Except the new color tone, the Duke 390 white edition is identical to the other color variants. It is still powered by a 373 cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine that churns out 43 bhp while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike’s top speed is 169 km/h while it can accelerate to 100 km/h from a standstill in just 5.6 seconds.
