New Honda SUV concept for Shanghai Auto Show
Honda Motors China has officially stated that they will be exhibiting a new concept SUV at the forthcoming 2015 Shanghai Auto Show which is set to kick-start from April 20th. A teaser sketch of the new SUV has been released by Honda.
Guangqi Honda Automobile and Dongfeng Honda Automobile (Honda’s Chinese subsidiaries) have jointly developed this concept. The Japanese automaker says that the Sport Utility Vehicle is mainly targeted at the Chinese market.
The released sketch gives us a fair idea about the new Honda SUV concept. It will be a full size SUV with a sloping roofline and sporty looks. The vehicle gets a prominent chrome grille which looks a lot like the one on the City. The huge wheel arches are complimented by the large wheels. Sharp crease lines run through the side body panels of the car. The headlights look like LEDs and the front bumper features sharp lines that house the fog lamp unit. No further details have been shared by the company.
The updated CRV and the new Honda City will also be displayed at the Shanghai Auto Show.
