New Honda Jazz`s Indian Website goes live
Honda Cars India have updated their website with details of the new Jazz which will launching in the country on 8th July, 2015. The website gives information to buyers about the premium hatchback`s features, engines and looks. Interested buyers can also book a test drive of the vehicle.
Honda dealerships in the country have started accepting bookings for the 2015 Jazz for an amount of Rs. 51,000. However, the company`s website does not mention the details about the number of variants the car will be available in. As per online reports the Jazz would be offered in 12 variants.
Other technical information like the Jazz`s engines and mileage figures have been put up on the website. Powering the Jazz diesel will be a 1.5 litre i-DTEC motor which bangs out 100 PS of power and 200 Nm of twisting force. The oil burner is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The ARAI claimed fuel efficiency figure for the diesel is 27.3 kmpl.
The petrol Jazz gets its juice from the tried and tested 1.2 litre i-VTEC engine which forks out 90 PS of power and 110 Nm of twisting force. It is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The petrol powered Jazz will also be offered with an automatic transmission (CVT). In terms of fuel efficiency the petrol (MT) delivers 18.7 kmpl while the CVT is good for 19 kmpl.
When launched the Honda Jazz will fight it out with the Volkswagen Polo, Hyundai i20 and the Fiat Punto.
