MV Augusta India starts operations, bikes priced from Rs 16.78 lacs

After months of speculations and rumors, the iconic Italian bike manufacturer, MV Augusta, has officially entered the Indian two-wheeler market, and has revealed prices of its entire portfolio in the country. Named as MV Augusta India Pvt. Ltd., the company has stepped on the Indian soil through the Pune-based Kinetic Group, which will be responsible for providing sales and service support to the MV Augusta bikes in India. Under this partnership, the company will be opening a new range of dealerships by the name of Motoroyale, with the first outlet being opened in Pune.

After the MV Augusta Pune dealership, other outlets will be opened in prominent biking markets like Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Delhi. All these dealerships will employ well-trained personnel, who will be designated to provide sales, service, and spare part related help to MV Augusta customers in India.

Though the dealership network will surely take some time to be spread across the aforementioned locations, the company has already started accepting bookings for its bikes on www.motoroyale.in. Currently, the Italian firm has put 3 superbikes on sale in India – F3, F4 and Brutale 1090. The MV Augusta F3 will be brought into India as a SKD unit, while the other two will be imported via the CBU route.
