Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber India bookings commence
Moto Guzzi, owned by Piaggio Group has commenced bookings for its V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber in India. Those interested can book the motorcycles at Piaggio Group’s Motoplex showroom, Pune by paying an amount of Rs 5 lakh. The deliveries of the motorcycles will begin soon after the launch. The V9 Roamer and V9 Bobber will cost you Rs 13.3 lakh and Rs 13.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune) respectively. Both V9 series were introduced in India at the 2016 Auto Expo; however they were first showcased at the EICMA motorcycle show in Italy. The cruisers will reach the Indian shores through the CBU route.
The V9 models are light-weight, advanced cruisers sharing the same platform with a noticeable difference in their riding positions. Roamer at one hand has a relaxed riding position; Bobber on the other offers an aggressive one. Highlighting the design language, V9 Roamer appears classic with all metal fabrication, lots of chrome and brat seat, while the Bobber has dark custom paint scheme with wide tyres, chopped fenders and straight handlebars. Both the motorcycles are fuelled by a transverse V-twin and oil cooled 850 cc mill that kicks out power of 55 PS at 6250 rpm and torque of 62 Nm at 3000 rpm.
Transmission options includes 6-speed gearbox, it also puts into use a double-joint drive shaft to drive the rear wheel. Packed with modern equipment, the V9 series offers traction control having two settings, two-channel ABS, immobilizer and USB port near instrumentation panel for easy external connection. The story doesn’t end here; Moto Guzzi will be offering accessories like chromed mudguards, flyscreen, leather side bags, rear bags, billet aluminium fitting and many more.
