Michelin India launches its internationally acclaimed Latitude Sport 3 tyres in the country

Driving on Indian roads is now going to be fun, with a safe and silent ride being promised by Michelin. The French tyre manufacturer recently launched its premium range of SUV tyres, Latitude Sport 3 in the Indian market. These new LS3 tyres being the third generation on-road SUV and CUV tyres in the company’s lineup comes with a unique looking treat pattern attached to a variable tread block which helps balance the weight of the vehicle to deliver a smooth, silent and safer ride.

By introducing this tyre range in the country, Michelin has extended its product range and has motivated the SUV and CUV lovers to buy a new model in that segment. When compared to its previous tyre model, the new Sport LS3 stops 2.70 meters shorter when on wet roads delivering a 4 % improvement in its dry braking system along with a 25% reduction in rolling resistance leading to better fuel efficiency. For greater longevity, the tyres come equipped with an innovative tread pattern with the latest generation of elastomers. Moreover, the 2-ply casing is also done in order to provide better strength to the tires.

Latitude Sport 3 will cater to the tech savvy and upwardly mobile consumer, who wants a dynamic and luxury performance, with practicality of everyday use” is what Mohan Kumar, Commercial Director, Michelin India, had to say.

Some auto manufacturers are offering the Michelin Latitude Sport 3 tyres as a factory fitted option. Performance SUVs like the BMW X5 and Porsche Macan are the ones, which are offered with these tyres. In India, these tyres will be offered in four sizes. One can purchase these tyres at Michelin premium dealerships, Tyre Plus network and Michelin Priority Partners.
