Maruti Suzuki showcases an accessorized variant of the new Swift
India’s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has displayed an accessorized variant of the newly launched Swift facelift recently at a concert. The much awaited Swift facelift was launched in India recently with a fairly comprehensive refresh and improved fuel efficiency. The showcased new Swift with a special accessory package came with white body color and a contrasting black roof. The sporty looks of the car are further enhanced by a couple of stripes running through its hood. This new version of the Swift facelift also flaunted special ‘music’ graphics on its sides, probably in harmony with the music theme as the car was displayed at the concert.
The showcased accessorized new Maruti Suzuki Swift premium hatchback is also seen endowed with a new aero kit that offers additional features like side skirting and a more stylish front bumper underlip adding to the hatchback’s charm. The Final touch in this special accessorized Maruti Swift is its alloy wheels that come painted in a quirky yellow shade. These yellow alloy wheels also accentuate the visual appeal of the car’s large headset that is fixed at its rear. All together, the already stylish and sporty looking new Maruti Swift gets an added dose of trendiness and eye catching appeal, thanks to its new added accessories.
The showcased new variant of the Maruti Suzuki Swift was a diesel variant. The car is powered by the same familiar Fiat sourced 1.3 litre Multijet diesel motor which has the potential to produce a max power output of 75 PS and a peak torque of 190 Nm. This diesel engine is one of the most refined engines in its class and goes into powering many other car models from Maruti as well as its market rivals in India. The engine offers a great ride quality and superior drive experience even on rough roads without the conventional diesel motor roar. This efficient diesel engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox.
This already able and efficient diesel mill has been tweaked at the thermal system level and it comes with a revised fuel injection system as well, which together act to offer more fuel efficiency than ever. Maruti Suzuki thus has proudly launched the new Swift facelift with an enhanced fuel economy of 10 percent accounting to 25.2 kmpl mileage on the new Swift’s diesel models as compared to the previous model’s 22.9 kmpl fuel efficiency.
The new Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift’s top end variants, namely the ZDi and ZXi also now come with added features such as power adjustable and folding outside rear view mirrors, push button start, keyless entry, new advanced audio system with Bluetooth connectivity and steering wheel mounted controls. All the variants of the new Maruti Suzuki Swift get added new features both on the outside as well as on the inside, making the highly popular premium hatchback leader all the more alluring to the Indian buyers.
