Maruti Ertiga facelift variants and details revealed prior to launch
Maruti Suzuki’s latest product to be launched in the Indian market comes in form of the Ertiga facelift. Slated for a launch on 10th October 2015, the 2015 Ertiga facelift will come in five different variants, namely, L, L(O), V, Z and Z+. The base trim, L will get the basic features such as a standard driver side airbag, tilt adjustable steering wheel, manual air conditioning and a seat belt reminder.
L(O) on the other hand will feature a front passenger side airbag, pre-tensioner and force limiter and ABS with EBD in addition to the features seen on the L trim. The mid or V variant will get an infotainment system with a CD player, AUX, USB and Bluetooth connectivity. More add-ons include ORVM integrated turn indicators, reverse parking sensors, power windows, keyless entry, rear air vents and 50:50 split third row of seating.
The higher Z trim on the other hand will see everything that features on the V trim, plus a height adjustable driver seat, steering mounted audio controls, rear wiper with defogger and alloy wheels. The top end Z+ trim on the other hand will get an engine start-stop button with smart key, SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system and a reverse parking camera in addition to all that the Z trim offers.
The MPV will also get a gear shift indicator, however it remains to be seen whether all the aforementioned variants will get the same or not. On the mechanical front, the facelift will derive power from the 1.3-litre diesel and the 1.4-litre petrol engines which also power many other vehicles from the same stable.
New colours on offer will be – Pearl Blue Blaze, Silky Silver, Granite Grey, Superior White, Radiant Beige and Serene Blue. Prices of the Ertiga facelift are expected to be somewhere in the range of Rs. 7-9 lakhs (ex-showroom).
