Maruti Ciaz new top-end Z+ model trims coming in January next year
India`s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has recently launched its new midsized sedan model, the Ciaz in the country tagged at a price range of Rs. 6.99 lakh to Rs. 9.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The sedan has become an instant hit like many other Maruti cars in India, and its demand is expected to soar up further. Come next year, and the Indo-Japanese car major has more variants of the new Ciaz to offer.
Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the new Z+ top of the range model trims in January 2015. The new top of the line variants of the Ciaz will be called the ZXi+ and ZDi+, and these will supersede the current top range models ZXi (O) and ZDi (O). Maruti Suzuki had officially announced about these new top of the line variants, namely the ZXi+ and ZDi+ at the market launch event of the Ciaz sedan. The company had confirmed during the launch that the Ciaz will get the new Z+ model trims for both the petrol and diesel versions of the car. While the ZXi+ will be the new top-end variant for the Ciaz’s petrol version, the ZDi+ will be top model trim for the Ciaz diesel avatar.
The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz midsized sedan is already highly feature-rich with an array of equipments and creature comforts. The current top of the line variants of the Ciaz, the Z(O) in both the petrol and diesel models, flaunt larger 16 inch alloy wheels in place of the 15 inch alloys on the lower model trims. The Z(O) variants also offer full premium leather upholstery for added luxury other than all the equipment list of the other variants of the car.
The Maruti Ciaz offers a long list of features including projector head lamps, infotainment system, chrome finished door handles, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, Bluetooth connectivity, push button start/stop, loads of chrome garnish and quality materials, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and lots more.
On top of all the features of the Z (O) variants, the Ciaz’s upcoming new top Z+ model trims will also get to boast of the bells and whistles which will include a new “touchscreen” infotainment system. The current C segment leader, the Honda City which is one of the primary rivals of the Ciaz, offers a 5 inch non-touchscreen display in its top-end model. The addition of the new touchscreen infotainment system along with some other nice premium add-ons in the new Z+ trims of the Maruti Ciaz are expected to make the models dearer by around Rs. 25 to 30 thousand, which should not matter to someone who has set his mind on the top models of the Ciaz.
The Maruti Ciaz with its good styling, great features, nice pricing strategy and industry leading fuel efficiency is expected to remain a hot seller.
