Mahindra TUV300 Launched in Bronze Green Colour
Home grown auto major Mahindra and Mahindra has decided to paint its much popular subcompact SUV in a Bronze Green shade. This special offering is to celebrate India’s 70th Independence Day and since the Bronze Green colour is associated with the military, Mahindra chose to drape the TUV300 in this special shade. The best part is one can order the colour scheme without paying any extra cost, and it will be available across all models in a made-to-order basis. The carmaker chose to announce the same to its customers through its official website.
Apart from the new Bronze Green shade, the TUV300 brings along no new features or mechanical updates. It will continue to extract its juice from the 1.5-L mHawk80 and 1.5-L mHAwk100. The former produces 84 bhp in manual variants and 81 bhp in AMT variants while the latter produces a healthy 100 bhp. The torque figure for mHawk80 stands at 230 Nm and for mHawk100 it is 240 Nm. Transmission options available are a 5-speed manual on the standard variant and AMT on the T6+ and T8+ variants only. The sub-compact SUV has been priced at Rs 9 lakh (T8 100PS, ex-showroom, Delhi).
The features too remain the same like the piano black centre console, driver infotainment system, volume and telephony controls on steering wheel to name a few. Including this new shade, the compact SUV is now available in total of seven exciting colours namely- Glacier White, Bold Black, Majestic Silver, Verve Blue, Dynamo Red, Molten Orange and Bronze Green. Bookings for the new Bronze Green TUV300 have already commenced at the company dealerships pan India. The TUV300 rivals the likes of the Ford EcoSport and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.
