Mahindra launches Gusto special edition on range topping VX trim
Mahindra Two Wheelers has launched the special edition version of its popular two-wheeler, Gusto at an additional premium of Rs 500 over the regular trim available at Rs 49,350. Available on the high end VX variant, the scooter features dual tone colour theme featuring Silver Majenta and Ice Red exclusive. Besides, the company is also offering free insurance on the scooter. Changes made to the special edition variant are confined to cosmetic tweaks; no technical and functional changes have been made.
For power generation, the scooter houses the same 109.6cc, single cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke power-train developing 8 bhp of power at 7500 RPM and peak torque of 9 Nm at 5500 RPM. The engine is coupled to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and fuel economy promised is a whopping 63 kmpl.
Fighting with rivals like the TVS Jupiter and Honda Activa, Mahindra Gusto comes with the segment best ground clearance of 165mm and first in segment height adjustment feature. Alongside this special edition, Mahindra Gusto with standard single colour options of Volcanic Red, Iceberg White, Galactic Black, Magnetic Magenta and Organza Silver will continue to be on offer. Other equipment like guide me lamps, find me lamps, telescopic forks, tubeless tyres, helmet lock beneath its seat and remote flip key are also incorporated in the vehicle.
