The mini SUV currently commands a waiting period of over two months. In order to cut down the waiting period, Mahindra will be increasing the production capacity at the Chakan Facility from 9,000 units to 12,000 units in less than six months. Coming to its safety features, all variants of KUV100 get ABS and EBD as standard, but the dual front airbags for the driver and front passenger are optional on all variants. The KUV100 is the first small car from Mahindra and is pitted against the likes of popular hatchbacks like the Maruti Swift and Grand i10.
