Limited production Yamaha R1M to be released
The Yamaha R1 has been the industry standard of what a superbike should be. It has been around for a while now and still remains far ahead of the competition (on the track as well as sales numbers).
The Yamaha R1M is a basic R1 equipped with premium hardware. The R1M has highly sophisticated race spec technologies incorporated into it. It is a highly complex sports bike and is bought by only those who understand how to use it (or who have the money to do so). The R1M is basically the highly popular YZF-R1 with electronic control systems paired to a high performance engine sitting on a complex chassis.
Yamaha is accepting online registrations for the bike from the 1st of October. Along with the bike, consumers can register for the Yamaha racing experience. This is a highly exclusive event, where the consumers will be given a chance to thrash the bike (like its meant to) around iconic circuits all over Europe. The customer will be taught how to tune the complex bike for different race conditions so as to get the most out of it on the racetrack. There will be a team of highly skilled Yamaha race technicians who will train the customers.
In 2015 the owners of the limited edition YZF-R1M attended the Yamaha Racing Experience (YRE). They were given lessons on bike preparation and training to improve their track riding skills by Moto GP legend Colin Edwards. This is an amazing opportunity for the owners to get to know their bike better and also experience the Yamaha racing heritage and see what goes into making them successful international competitors.
So if you’re looking for a new bike and have a lot of cash to spare, head over to Yamaha`s website and register!
