Launched: 2015 BMW X6 priced at Rs 1.15 crore
BMW has just launched the latest X6 SUV in our country with the xDrive40d variant costing Rs. 1.15 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model will be brought into our country as a CBU unit and will be available in 5 colours – Alpine White, Mineral White, Space Grey, Flamenco Red Brilliant Effect and Carbon Black.
The amazingly styled coupe like SUV gets updated kidney grilles with horizontal chrome lines at the front, that have increased in size along with the air-dams. The rear taillights now get LED strips with adaptive light banking. Overall, the vehicle does look fresher than before, gaining on the muscularity front with those big 19-inch alloy wheels. The interiors on the other hand has a subtle sense of sportiness attached with the driver focussed design. It has everything that you expect from a vehicle which costs more than a crore and is very luxurious as well, coming with optional Nappa leather upholstery.
Coming to the 2015 BMW X6`s engine specifications, power comes from a 3.0-litre TwinPower, in-line six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 313 BHP and a massive 600 Nm of peak torque between 1500 to 2500 RPM. The SUV can hit 100 km/hr from standstill in 5.8 seconds, going all the way up to 240 km/hr. Power is sent to all the four wheels through a new 8-speed automatic gearbox with paddle shifters.
Features inside the X6 facelift includes an Automatic Start/Stop function, Heads-Up Display, Brake Energy Regeneration, BMW Night Vision with Dynamic light spot and an optional Harmon Kardon music system. The new X6 is also packed with a host of safety features like six airbags, Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) and a crash sensor with an electric engine immobilizer.
