Kawasaki Vulcan S Café and Vulcan SE Special Edition revealed
The Vulcan has become a major product from Kawasaki in the international two-wheeler market. Its design has been a major positive as a result of which the cruiser is doing well. To capitalise on this, Kawasaki has just launched two new variants of the Vulcan – Vulcan S Cafe and Vulcan SE Special Edition.
The two aforementioned new models get various changes on the looks department so as to retail in 2016 as well. The S Café comes with a three tone custom paint job that looks nice. The fuel tank gets a badge and the front cowl has a tinted wind deflector as well. The SE Special Edition on the other hand is being offered in a two-tone paint scheme. Both the two models come with a low seat height with an optional set of handlebars and seats and forward positioned foot pegs that can be adjusted as per the rider’s comfort.
The Kawasaki Vulcan is a very good cruiser motorcycle that is often considered one of the best new age cruisers. The new models actually ride on a chassis that takes inspiration from sports bikes. The suspension system has been modified as well in order to make reduce weight and improve handling characteristics. Its light weight make manoeuvring even simpler.
The two new models continue to draw power from the same 649cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the Ninja 650. However, Kawasaki has made several changes to the powerplant in order for it to offer more torque in the low and mid ranges of the rev band. Mated to a 6-speed transmission, the cruiser outputs a good 62.8 Nm of torque.
With the addition of two new models, the Kawasaki Vulcan’s popularity is only set to increase in the coming future.
