Kawasaki Versys 650 coming this December
Kawasaki Versys 650 which was shipped to India earlier this year for homologation process is expected to be finally launched in the country by the end of this year. Speculated to be introduced in the country in December, Kawasaki Versys 650 is likely to be available in black and green colour choices giving the white shade a miss. Design cues have been taken from Versys 1000 version like a roomy saddle, straight-up seating position and elevated handlebars. Featuring a ground clearance of 170mm, a height adjuster windshield and reach adjuster handlebar, Versys 650 is a tour-friendly bike.
Power is supplied by a 649 cc, parallel-twin, four stroke, liquid-cooled fuel injected engine featuring four valves for each cylinder and dual overhead camshafts. The engine is capable of belting out maximum power of 68.1 bhp @8500 RPM and peak torque of 6.5 kgm torque @7000 RPM.
Dual petal disc brakes are fitted in front and rear gets disc brake with a single rotor. Besides, the bike features upside-down forks up front, alloy swingarm and off-set rear monoshock.
