Adding to the sparkle of the imminent Diwali celebrations, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Kawasaki has finally introduced two hugely awaited sports bikes to India. These twin-cylinder sportsbikes are the Z250 and the ER-6n from the house of Kawasaki. These two motorcycles will surely capture the hearts of bike enthusiasts in India.

The Kawasaki Z250 sportsbike is driven by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, parallel-twin engine which is empowered by a fuel-injection system as well as dual throttle valves technology in order to offer superb fuel efficiency. The new Kawasaki Z250 utilizes telescopic shock absorbers at the front and a monoshock at the rear of the motorcycle. The Z250 also gets a precise braking system as it makes use of a single disc brake both at the front as well as at the back.

Kawasaki has launched the new Z250 in India at the right time with a precise market strategy, as many other two-wheeler makers are launching refreshed or new models during this time, making the competition more intense. Other major bike makers including DSK Benelli is getting ready with the launch of its new 300cc motorcycle in India pretty soon, while KTM is also busy working on a new twin-cylinder motorcycle contemplated to launch in the Indian two wheeler market in the future. The new Kawasaki Z250 has been launched in India with the price tag of Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

On the other hand, Kawasaki’s second bike launch in India at the moment is the new ER-6n. The new Kawasaki ER-6n is powered by a 649cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled twin-cylinder motor which makes it super powerful and fuel efficient as well. The new Kawasaki ER-6n has done away with its old headlight and has replaced it with a cool, funky looking bikini clad headlight, which is more contemporary and powerful as well. Where the overall design is concerned, one can hardly find any difference between the design of the already existing Kawasaki Ninja 650 which is available for sale in India and the styling of that of the new ER-6n.

The new Kawasaki ER-6n sports bike incorporates front telescopic shock absorbers, coupled to a side- mounted monoshock at the rear of the bike. The new ER-6n motorcycle offers a superior braking system for quick deceleration by incorporating twin discs brakes at the front, while a single disc brake does the duty at the rear. The Japanese motorcycle maker has launched the new ER-6n sportsbike tagged at an attractive price of Rs. 4.78 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

India is a fast growing two-wheeler market with intense competition, and the two new Kawasaki bikes have just made the race more interesting.
