Remember the Jaguar ad campaign featuring loads of baddies from the movies. It really changed the way we look at Jaguars and it really suits the character these cars have. The previous campaign came with the tagline ‘It’s good to be bad’. Now from the last year’s campaign, they have moved to a new one which features British Intelligence rather than the villains. This new commercial for Jaguar featuring British Intelligence has British actor Nicholas Hoult and is directed by the same director who also directed the British Villains commercial in London.

The new commercial will feature their complete Jaguar sedan line-up that includes the XJ, XF and the recently introduced Jaguar XE. The Group Marketing Director of Jaguar Land Rover, Mr. Phil Popham says that this campaign is about introducing the evolving line-up to new generation of buyers. The campaign showcases the wide line-up, loads of technology and the craftsmanship that goes behind the Jaguar product. In this TV commercial, Nicholas Hoult is explaining audiences about Jaguar’s cutting edge tech and how a villain is just as good as the technology he has at his disposal. They have used computer generated imagery to highlight the technology and engineering going behind Jaguar cars.

For the advertisement, Jaguar has targeted augmented reality experience as well with the Blippar app on Google Glass. It would allow users to ‘blipp’ print ads to showcase the additional digital content through Google Glass. This makes them the very first automobile manufacturer to do so. Hoult appears in different formats of films. They have commissioned three TV spots of 30 seconds each and a 90 second digital film. The Jaguar XJ, XF and F-Type will soon be seen on the ‘Car Matchmaker’ on Esquire Network. Adam Fleischman will be test driving all three cars to decide the one to bring home.

Jaguar has been aggressively targeting its rivals with new products and impressive marketing strategies. One of the most beautiful cars, the Jaguar F-Type coupe wasn’t unveiled long back. It packs in the characteristic British styling in a more stylish and modern package. It is offered with the option of two V6 engines and a V8 engine. It has received a lot of appreciation for its styling as well as performance. The coupe version followed the convertible version which came in earlier.

Recently Jaguar introduced the XE which will be targeted at cars like A4, 3 Series and C-Class. Earlier Jaguar made an attempt at this with the X-Type which was a nice product but the similarities with the Ford counterpart killed it. The XE is an all new product meant to scare off the German rivals. Jaguar has claimed that it would be better to drive than any of its rivals. The car features an aluminium construction to keep the weight low and make it lighter. This makes the Jaguar XE both quick and efficient. The car is offered with a wide range of engine options including diesel engines. It also gets lot of tech wizardry to make living with this Jaguar easier. The new Jaguar campaign would help catch more eyeballs for these new impressive Jaguars.
