Much of the latest news for Jaguar has been centred on the F-PACE. The compact luxury SUV is all set to make its international debut at the upcoming 2015 Frankfurt International Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA – Frankfurt Motor Show) on 17th September. This will be an iconic vehicle for the Jaguar brand given that it is its first ever SUV.

Jaguar has just released an image and a teaser video of the F-PACE. The picture displays the SUV’s side profile and it’s one of the most revealing images of the SUV seen till date. For starters, the vehicle has a very good stance. Inspired from the C-X17 concept car which was showcased back in 2013, the F-PACE is built on the company’s Lightweight Aluminium Architecture.

To be manufactured in Solihull, UK, the F-PACE will be a very potent SUV which will be equipped with technologies derived from sports cars like the F-TYPE. Therefore, the F-PACE will come with a stiffer suspension setup and it will also be a dynamically rich car. On the mechanical front, it will be powered by a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine in addition to the four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

At the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Jaguar F-PACE SUV will be accompanied by the new XF and the 2016 XJ. The SUV will start retailing first in the USA in the spring season next year, followed by its introduction in the Indian market. The F-PACE has already stacked in a lot of interest from people across the globe given that it will form the basis for the new family of SUVs from Jaguar.

As it turns out, this year has been a very important one for the British car maker, given that it is the 80th anniversary of Jaguar Cars and the company debuted the baby Jag, XE and the new XF as well.
