India-bound Nissan Kicks interior images revealed
Nissan India has been suffering from a constantly dropping sales figure, something which the company hopes to recover after the Datsun Redi-GO deliveries start in June 2016. But there is one more product in the pipeline which has the capabilities to turn Nissan’s fortunes in India. This is a compact SUV, named the Nissan Kicks, which was officially revealed a few days back through a couple of images. And now, the Japanese car maker has revealed the Nissan Kicks’ interiors, which indeed complement the youthful feel of the crossover’s exterior.
The Nissan Kicks dashboard has been adorned in a dual-tone layout, as it gets a dark black shade on the upper and lower panels, while a thick brown panel has been placed in between. A large touch-screen infotainment system has been placed on the centre console, while a seamlessly integrated automatic climate control is placed beneath it. Sleek AC Vents have been placed above the infotainment screen, while the side air vents are circular in shape and get a chrome surround. But what takes the cake is the chubby steering wheel, which has been given a flat bottom part to make it look more aggressive. Behind the steering is a neatly laid out instrument cluster, which houses an MID to display important parameters like real time efficiency, trip distance, and also includes a digital odometer.
Though the Nissan Kicks launched in Brazil is powered by a 1.6-litre flex-fuel motor that produces around 115 PS of power, the Nissan Kicks in India will likely be powered by the same 1.5-litre diesel mill that powers the Terrano.
