Hyundai Santa Fe facelift officially unveiled
Hyundai has done a stellar job not just in India but also the world over to create a very good brand image in the minds of the common man. One of the main reasons for the same to happen is a constant upgradation of its portfolio of products. Carrying the latest design philosophy (Fluidic Sculpture 2.0), the company is experiencing new heights of success.
The latest vehicle to receive an update is its premium SUV, Santa Fe. The Korean car maker has just revealed the facelift model which will go on sale in the international market next year. The changes are not that much, but still enough to make the new Sante Fe look fresh and get more features.
The front end sees a new bumper with LED DRLs, a bolder new chrome grille, newly designed fog lights and new headlights. The rear end features a redesigned bumper as well along with reshaped rectangular exhaust outlets. The side profile remains unchanged completely.
The interiors features a new and bigger touchscreen infotainment system with updated buttons. The company is saying that the interior material quality is better than the outgoing model. This comes as welcome news even though the current model already has good quality interiors.
Changes on the mechanical front remain to be a mystery as of now. However, given that it is a facelift, the engines from the current model should also find their way on to the upcoming facelift. On the safety aspect, new features like smart cruise control, rear-cross traffic alert, emergency braking, lane change assist, high beam assist and blind spot detection will find their way to the 2016 Santa Fe.
The Santa Fe facelift comes across as a very good model which should enable the already potent SUV to give even tougher competition in the premium SUV space.
