Hyundai Creta receives a tremendous response with over 10,000 pre-orders
Korean auto major Hyundai is all geared up to launch its next product the Creta in the Indian market. The upcoming SUV has already received 10,000 pre-orders and 28,500 enquiries from prospective buyers.
The Indian subsidiary of the company, Hyundai Motor India Ltd has pumped in 1,000 crores to develop the 5-seater SUV. The Hyundai Creta will rival the likes of Ford, Tata Motors, Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra.
The Creta has managed to create quite a stir with its butch and sporty looks and the SUV from Hyundai Motor India will be the next vehicle to set a new benchmark in the segment with its design and features.
The Hyundai Creta will fight it out with the likes of the Nissan Terrano, Ford Ecosport, Renault Duster, Tata Safari Storme and the Mahindra XUV500, which are priced between Rs 6.7 lakh to Rs 16 lakh.
Hyundai`s Indian SUV line-up currently consists of the Santa Fe which caters to the premium SUV category. In the recent past the SUV market in the country has seen a tremendous growth since 2013. With an annual growth rate of twenty percent the SUV space is set to witness an exponential rise in India.
The Creta has been specially designed and developed by Hyundai with inputs from Indian engineers to cater to the tastes of the Indian consumers.
