Honda might launch new CBR250R/300R at the RevFest on 4th August 2015
Popularity of the quarter-litre bike segment in India has been on the rise for quite a while now. Most of the manufacturers including the likes of Benelli, Kawasaki, and Hyosung retail models in the segment and so has been the case with Honda as well. However, the Honda CBR250R never really got the public going gala over it. The motorcycle has not been priced well and has constantly been losing out to its rivals. Though international markets have received a new CBR250R with updated styling elements, we are yet to get the new model.
Very recently, a covered CBR250R motorcycle was spotted at the company’s plant which points to it being the facelifted model of the bike in discussion here. Few of the changes that are seen on the bike includes new MRF tyres and new red coloured lettering on the crank case. Other parts including the chain guard, mudguard, swing arm, exhaust and foot pegs remain same as the current model.

Considering the unchanged bits in the bike, Honda most likely will not be bringing the new CBR250R as it is retailed in the international markets. Either the current generation model will be given a facelift or the updated bike will share many parts from the outgoing model to keep prices in check. Until then we can only hope for Honda to give the CBR250R a major overhaul because it desperately needs the same. Whatever may be the case, things will only get clear at the RevFest that is going to be held on 4th August, where the company will be launching its new products for our country.
