Honda Livo Spied Testing, To replace CB Twister
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has really big plans for the Indian market. Proof of this is the latest motorcycle from the Honda stable which has been spotted testing, called the Livo, which is part of the fifteen products that will be launched by Honda in the country as part of its expansion plan.
The Honda Livo`s spy photos have started doing the rounds of the internet. The bike`s design is inspired by the Honda CB Unicorn 160. The motorcycle`s hexagonal dial`s reveal that its name is “Livo”.
The Honda Livo has a sporty design which is aimed at targeting the younger generation. The bike features a sporty riding position, fuel tank fairing and 6 spoke black alloy wheels. From the design it is evident that that the Livo has borrowed bits and pieces from the Dream series of bikes. Apart from the platform, the red coloured rear shocks, turn indicators and the front mudguard have an uncanny resemblance to the Dream series. The taillamp though has been redesigned.
The new Honda bike gets it juice from the CB Twister`s 110cc engine, which has been tweaked for better power and improved mileage figures. This motor forks out 9bhp of power and 9Nm of torque. Power will be channelized to the rear wheel via a 4-speed transmission.
Honda will also be launching the CBR 650F, the updated Aviator and an all-new motorcycle apart from the Livo in 2015.
