Honda motorcycle and scooter India (HMSI) has launched the new CB unicorn 160 at a price of 69,350(ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new bike will replace the CB Trigger, as it is more competitively priced and has a more powerful engine.

Technical Details: The suspension system on the Unicorn is similar to that on the CB trigger, telescopic forks in the front and mono-shock set up at the rear. 240-mm disc brakes to stop the front while the rear has a drum brake set up. The front tyres are 80/100 while the rear wheels are 110/80 wrapped on 17-inch alloys. The bike weighs about 135 kgs.

Fuel Efficiency: The CB unicorn comes with Honda`s eco technology which claims to give a FE of about 62 kmpl.

Competition: With a lot of bikes releasing next year, the Honda CB unicorn will compete with the likes of the Apache RTR 160, Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ F1 2.0.
