The Himalayan Dash returns for its 7th edition

2016 Himalayan Dash

The Himalayan Dash is a 11-day long self-driving expedition that is organized by Cougar Motorsport Pvt. Ltd., and caters to people who are passionate about driving their high-end premium cars and SUVs to the rugged territories of Manali, Leh, and Srinagar. For the year 2016, the Himalyan Dash has returned for its 7th edition, and is scheduled from July 2 to July 12.

Covering a total distance of 1500 kms across 3 states, this expedition promises to take the participants to the highest motorable roads in the world. Though the event is open for registration to everyone who is interested to take his/her premium car to long and adventurous journeys, the show organizers claim that their major target audience consists of corporate executives and business owners.

Though the route might feel treacherous, event organizers have planned the itinerary so that ample breaks are provided in between to help the travelers catch their breath and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. The said journey will take the fleet of vehicles across varied terrains, including high mountain passes, long cold deserts, and deep gorges of high-flowing rivers like Beas, Chandra and Indus.

The 2016 Himalayan Dash will feature three packages, with each of these packages suiting a varied set of participants according to the course of duration and budget. Since the 2016 Dash will only have limited entries, we at MotorCruze suggest you to head to and book your spot.
