Hero HF Deluxe facelift spotted testing
India is a country where the commuter bike segment is the largest. 100 cc commuter bikes that have a reliable engine and good fuel efficiency rule the segment. Now Hero MotoCorp has figured this out, and has managed to come up at the top of the segment. It has ruled for quite a while now. The Indian bike manufacturer has made its presence felt all over the country and can boast of an amazing after sales service center network.
The latest news about Hero MotoCorp is that it has been doing some hardcore research and development lately. This is so that it can develop its own engines, and would not need to rely on Honda after their partnership ended. 2016 will see a host of new engines from the Hero stable (ranging from 100cc to 250cc power plant units).
Recently a Hero motorcycle was caught testing with what could be the new 100cc mill. The engine produces a punchy 8.46HP and delivers 8.45NM torque output. Considering this is only a 100 cc mill, those numbers are impressive. The bike that the engine was testing on seemed to be the HF Deluxe facelift, which will most probably hit the markets in 2016.

The light frame of the chassis, and compact dimensions make it a consumer favorite. Combine this with a fuel-efficient system and price it right, it will be a hit. Hero is known for its low priced reliable commuter vehicles, and there is no doubt this bike will be a success. The Hero HF Deluxe bike spotted was completely camouflaged, though design tweaks in the headlamps, fuel tank and rear end could be noticed.
2016 will be a big year for the company, with its new engines waiting to be unleashed. Increased fuel efficiency figures will drive growth and help fill up the company treasury chest. Hero is also exporting its products to a host of nations, and has a big year to look forward to.
