Fiat SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo Concept looks straight out of a sci-fi movie
So FCA (Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles) has developed 3 virtual concept cars which are breathtaking, and out of this world (Literally, they look like spaceships that aliens use).
The base models of the SRT Tomahawk were too basic for the good guys over at FCA, so they went ahead and made 3 concept cars to amaze us (and themselves). They are called the SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo S, SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo GTS-R and the monstrous SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo X.
First lets start with the SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo S. The vehicle has a 7 liter V10 pounding out 792 bhp, which is what most of the high end supercars bang out in recent times. Apart from this the vehicle has pneumatically driven front wheels, which adds about 215bhp. So a total of 1007bhp plunges this car into supercar hall of fame. Sounds realistic considering the Bugatti Veyron came with a 1000bhp plus engine off the production line. The weight of the vehicle is under a ton, and it has a top speed of 402 km/h.
Impressive? Not quite. Here’s the big brother GTS-R model. This vehicle weighs in at 661 kgs, and the 7-liter V10 in this vehicle punches out 1137bhp. The pneumatic front wheel tyre technology adds about 313bhp. This brings up a total of about 1450 BHP and a top speed of 480 Km/h.
Now we get to the big bad monster called the SRT Tomahawk Vision Gran Turismo X. The car looks like what you’d see in a sci-fi movie. The red line of the 7-liter V10 engine has been increased to 14,500 rpm. This makes the V10 punch out 2168 bhp on its own. The pneumatic technology punches out 422bhp at the front tyres. This brings up its total to about 2590bhp. That’s enough power to put all current supercars in the world to shame. The top speed of this vehicle will be 650km/h.
To handle the G-forces the cars produce, the driver will have to wear a G-suite. That’s what astronauts wear! If this vehicle ever becomes a reality though!
Watch this space for updates!
