Fiat organizes three day free check-up camp

The Italian car maker, FIAT India has organized a check-up camp for the owners of FIAT vehicles across India. The camp is currently going on from September 26th to September 28th, 2014. The camp will be held at 106 sites spread across the nation. Some regions will have these check-up camps set up for them during November. These regions include West Bengal, Bihar and Assam. These free check-up camps will offer multiple benefits for the customers and also gives them various complimentary advantages.

The check-up camps being hosted by FIAT India are an attempt by the Italian car manufacturer to stay connected with their customers and make sure that the bonding continues to be strong. FIAT wasn’t able to cater to the customers very well in the past and didn’t have a very good reputation for parts availability and after sales. With these camps FIAT India is reassuring that the quality of service won’t be an issue in future and they are trying to take the level of quality to meet their global standards. FIAT India has been hosting similar campaigns in the past and they have worked very well.

At the free check-up camp, the customers will be able to avail up to 20 percent discounts on spare parts and service costs. On top of that they will get a complimentary free wash for their vehicle. Along with this FIAT has also made arrangements for test drives of their vehicles like the Punto Evo which was recently launched in India and the Avventura which is yet to enter the market. There is no point against the fact that FIAT has got impressive products and with the festive season approaching, this might help them boost the sales in this season.

The FIAT Avventura is most likely to enter the Indian market next month. It will face competition from cars like Toyota Etios Cross, Ford EcoSport and other upcoming crossovers and compact SUVs. It was first showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo earlier this year. The exteriors are similar to the Punto Evo but a lot of design elements make it look tougher than the hatchback. It also sits higher than the Punto Evo and has got pronounced wheel arches to give it a rugged look. The Fiat Avventura will be offered with both petrol and diesel engines. The diesel engine would be the familiar multijet unit and the petrol would be the 1.4 litre engine producing 90PS of power.

The Punto hatchback has been refreshed recently and in its new avatar, it is called the Punto Evo. It has been restyled to look better than before. It offers excellent ride quality and handling. With a capable chassis, the new Punto Evo retains the characteristics of the older version. The interiors on the previous model were a bit disappointing and you get much better interiors on the new Punto Evo. It is also available with both petrol and diesel engine options.
