Entries for the Toyota 2015 Dream Car Art Contest are open for the UK round
Entries for the Toyota 2015 Dream Car Art Contest are now open for the UK round of the global competition. The competition lets youngsters to let their imagination run free in Toyota`s ninth annual Dream Car Art Contest.
The competition always produces a mix of colourful imagination and ground breaking ideas. Whether it`s engines that run on recycled rubbish, machines that fly and sail as well as travel on normal roads or edible chocolate seats the possibilities are limitless. Toyota recognizes the fact that today`s children are the car drivers, engineers and car designers of the future and looks at the 2015 Dream Car Art Contest as a way of encouraging youngsters to think about the role a car can play in society and their lives in general. To take part in the contest children need to paint or draw their dream car, with a cool backdrop to show how it will look on the road and the painting should provide a short explanation of how the vehicle works and why it is the best car in the world. All submissions must be drawn or painted with the hand and artwork produced on a computer will not be allowed. A3 or A4 size paper needs to be used.
The Toyota 2015 Dream Car Art Contest allows participants from three age groups to participate (under eight, 8-11 years, and 12 to 15 years, entrants must live in United Kingdom). Winners of each category will receive an ipad and also get a chance to qualify for the worldwide championship. Finalists of the world championship get a chance to attend the global prize ceremony in 2015 in Japan.
