Diamond merchant employees receive 455 Fiat Punto Evos as Diwali bonus
Italian car maker Fiat’s Indian wing, Fiat Group Automobiles India has recently delivered its largest bulk order for the new Punto Evo. The huge order for 455 units of the Fiat Punto Evo came from a diamond merchant called Savjibhai in Surat, Gujarat. The diamond merchant made the huge order for 455 cars to give them away to his employees as Diwali bonus. It is certainly a magnificent Diwali this year, especially for the particular diamond merchant’s employees who are receiving grand Diwali gifts this year and get to take home a brand new car.
Fiat says that this particular bulk order is the biggest single delivery which has been made by a car company in the country, based on the Indian automotive industry sources. Moreover, the huge armada of 455 Fiat Punto Evo`s is certainly the largest fleet of cars that were ever gifted away as Diwali bonus to the employees of any company. When inquired, the magnanimous diamond merchant Savjibhai explained that the company had selected 1200 employees who were given a particular target to be met within a specified time. The employees who were able to meet targets within the given time frame were given a special Diwali gift as per requirements of those employees, and some of these employees got the new Fiat Punto Evo hatchbacks as their wished Diwali gift.
The diamond merchant also revealed that it has gifted a total of 500 cars as Diwali bonus to the select employees who met their targets. Moreover, the company has also gifted 200 apartments and a lot of jewellery among the listed giveaways for this year’s Diwali gifts. While a total of 500 cars were gifted to those employees who did not own a car, the employees without their own houses got an apartment as a Diwali bonus from the company. Apart from these, Savjibhai also gifted gold and diamond jewellery to around 525 employees as Diwali bonus or gifts. In all, it is surely a superb Diwali this year for Savjibhai employees, who were lucky enough to get the bumper Diwali gifts of apartments and cars.
Fiat India had launched the new Punto Evo hatchback model on 5th of August, this year. The hatchback in its new avatar gets design changes to meet the demands and preferences of the modern young Indian car buyers, while maintaining the patent Italian styling and quality to cater to Indian market requirements. Fiat’s exclusive dealership outlet in Surat called Sukrit Autolink placed the order for 190 new Punto Evo units equipped with 1.2L petrol engine, and 265 Punto Evo units equipped with the 1.3L diesel mill. The body color options that were given in the huge bulk order were New Pearl White and Minimal Grey.
