Details emerge on the Kawasaki Z125, launch around the corner
Spy images of Kawasaki’s, Honda Grom rivalling freestyle bike named Z125 surfaced on the inter-web prior to the bike’s launch which is around the corner. Kawasaki may reveal the lightweight bike on October 25 that is said to have taken cues from other Kawasaki motorcycles currently on sale.
Moreover, the bike is expected to get piquant equipment like single piece seat, subtly faired head light and tailpiece, fuel tank extensions highlighted by Kawasaki badges, exhaust placed under the belly and embossed knee recesses. Also, the bike gets inverted telescopic forks in the front while the rear features a monoshock suspension setup. Each wheel gets disc brakes to provide braking power.
Aimed at beginners and experienced riders, Kawasaki’s Z125 is a lightweight bike that may get a 125cc, single cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injected engine that is capable of producing 10 PS of power. A five-speed manual gearbox could be paired to the engine. Offering premium bikes in India, Kawasaki may not bring the small and low powered Z125 to the domestic market.
