Competition in the luxury car segment heats up: Jaguar opens new showroom in Raipur
The luxury car segment in India is growing at a very fast pace and Jaguar has no plans to be left behind. Jaguar has opened a new showroom in Raipur spread over 50,000 sq ft which can display 8 models simultaneously. This shows how serious Jaguar is about the Indian market and wants to take its competition head on.
Jaguar wants to set a new bench mark for customer experience and Rohit Suri, VP, JLR said that this 3S (sales, service and spare parts) facility was the largest in Raipur.
Jaguar India`s current lineup consists of the XF, XJ, XKR, and the F-Type. In the mean time Jaguar is busy preparing the new XE which is aimed at taking on the BMW 3 series, Mercedes C-Class and the Audi A4. The luxury segment is very competitive and to take the competitors head on would require a vast dealership network across the country. Currently JLR has opened 20 outlets across 18 major cities in India.
