A magical moment has surfaced through the turmoil; the auto subsidiary of the firm, Chevrolet has sold 1 million Beat cars, called Spark in the overseas markets.
The Chevrolet Beat is a trendy hatchback car which is selected by young buyers in India and abroad. The compact car has been the front runner for Chevrolet, since its arrival in 2009; Beat is among the major profit contributors. The car is a source of fascination among the young demographic; its huge desirability is created by its power packed technology and fuel efficiency.
‘’Chevrolet Beat offers the highest mileage of 25.44 km/l in the hatchback segment, and is a favourite amongst the young crowd in India and overseas markets’’, says the Managing Director and President of General Motors India, Arvind Saxena. The options are vast; there is a diesel, petrol and also an LPG variant to choose from. The Chevrolet Beat is available in 71 countries! The highest selling markets are Mexico, United States and South Korea, which is the biggest market.
Beat certainly offers unmatched fuel efficiency and is the most fuel-efficient hatchback in India. The sale outflow of Beat in U.S, the parent firm, is increasing by 10% every year. Viewing the world-wide demand for Beat, GM India began its Beat export plan, from the established Talegaon unit. The primary country for exports is Chile.
